Ann Bartholomew

Ann came to Patihani as a volunteer in 2009 for five months and again as a member of the BOD in Oct/Nov 2010, a visit she has since repeated many times. During her first time in Patihani she learnt how FACE Nepal was set up, how it operates and also grew attached to the beautiful people there. Ann's role within the organization involves general support with particular responsibility for the Child Sponsorship Programme.

Daniel Lawrence

Daniel is a former volunteer who came to Nepal for six months during 2010-11. He holds a Bachelor's degree in politics from the University of Durham and an MBA from the University of Manchester. He works as a Director in the Transport sector for a big four accounting firm and is based in USA.

SARAH RICE

After a long career in the TV Advertising sales industry, Sarah retired to concentrate on gardening and studying Horticulture. She was introduced to FACE Nepal by Ann Bartholomew and visited Nepal in 2017 where she was impressed with what the charity was achieving there and charmed by the country and the Nepalese people. She was pleased to be invited to become a trustee of the charity and assists in the area of child sponsorship, both administration and fundraising.

NICOLA BENSEMANN

Designation: Member of the Board

Nicola is an Accountant in New Zealand and was introduced to FACE Nepal by Zoe Dryden visiting and volunteering in 2018. On her return to New Zealand she was delighted to be invited to join the New Zealand trustees and be able to contribute to an organisation holding a special place in her heart.

NICOLE TRUEMAN

Nicole is a committed member of the FACE Nepal board and a proud child sponsor. Her involvement has grown over time, with a growing passion for supporting future community projects. Nicole plans to visit Nepal to connect with the team on the ground and contribute directly to the impact of FACE Nepal.

Zoë Dryden

Designation: Founding Member

Zoe Dryden is one of the founding members of FACE Nepal and has prior experience of aid agencies in Nepal as a volunteer. Zoe holds a BCA honors degree in Marketing and Management and has owned and run private companies in New Zealand and Australia.

Zoe no longer holds a governance role within FACE Nepal, but continues to support and provide insight and encouragement.

Sheeram Devkota

Managing Director - Nepal Based

Outside of his work as MD, Shreeram is also a social worker and principal of a Government school. Shreeram has worked closely with the local communities for more than 10 years and continues to support and advocate for them and their enviroment. Shreeram holds a masters degree in Education

SOM BAHADUR KHADKA

Som Bahadur Khadka is the current elected chairperson. He is retired from the Indian Army and is involved in social works. He is leading the school management committee of Basic School Jutpani.

BHIM LAL ACHARYA

Bhim Lal Acharya was previously active as a board member and has rejoined the team after a few years.

DHARMENDRA JUNG RAYAMAIHI

Dharmendra Jung Rayamajhi is involved in Lions Club International and is the successful principal of a government school. He lives in Bharatpur.

PUSHPA KADARIYA

Pushpa Kadariya has completed a masters degree and is working as teacher. She is permanent in her government job. She lives in Patihani.

BHAJRAI POUDEL

Bhojraj Poudel is involved in social work and on becoming aware of the activities of FACE Nepal was encouraged get involved. He lives in Sundarbasti Chitwan.

Shova DEVI Rijal

Member - Local Advisory Board

Shova owns and operates a village shop in Patalahara. As a mother of one of our sponsored children, Shova represents the interests of sponsored children on the advisory board.

SARASWATI BASHYAL

Saraswati Bashyal is involved in social work and especially loves working in women’s empowerment activities.

She lives in Bharatpur with her two children.
